Join us for a very special screening of inspiring trail running films on iconic mountain races and also about personal challenges in the mountains. These races epitomize the community aspect of mountain running perhaps due to the grueling nature of the course and the adversity the runners face. If you’re looking for inspiring trail running films to kick up your training, get you in the mood for a race, or convince you to start trail running, be sure to join us on tuesday evening.

Ultrarunner and one of the most decorated athletes in the sport, Karl Meltzer has dreamed of setting the speed record for crossing the Appalachian Trail for as long as he’s been running. Now Karl sets out for his third and final attempt to run the 2,189 miles (3,523 km) trail in less than 46 days, 8 hours, 6 mins. Will he be able to conquer the seemingly impossible?

Crossing Corsica : The GR 20 Trail Quest


French Ultrarunner and Winemaker François d’Haene attempts to cross Corsica from north to south along the legendary 180 km-long GR20 mountain trail in world record-breaking time – faster than 31 hours and 6 minutes. Only 4 people have gone under 40 hours in history, will he become the 5th person?

Transvulcania:

 

Transvulcania is considered one of the toughest trail running races in the world, with 74.33 km and 4,350m of positive climb and 4,057m downhill. It's part of the Skyrunning world series in the beautiful island of La Palma where the best in the world compete against each other while dealing with a brutal course.
