Wonderful morning spent in the company of 50 amazing volunteers clearing our OWN waste which we throw outside our homes into mother nature. Is this how we threat our beautiful planet which gave birth to us? So far we removed 15 truckloadsof garbage from the Theosophical Society along the banks of the beautiful Adyar river. Our waste which we convenientlydump (it's not my problem is it?) outside eventually ends up through lakes, canals, drains into rivers, the ocean and the eco-system (and our food plate!) which we are part of. When will we start taking OWNERSHIP of our OWN garbage through reduction, segregation, composting, recycling?
