A HUGE army of 7000 like minded volunteers including 120+ Corporates, NGOs, schools, colleges, running and social groups are all set to storm the Chennai beaches from Marina to Uttandi tomorrow morning 6am. 50 tonnes of garbage are waiting for us along 20km of coastline to be removed and segregated in 3 main categories below. We will be recycling an estimated 85% of the collected garbages to minimize the waste that moves to the Pallikarnai marshlands.
