What are you currently doing (job/study)? your interests?
I am a Computer Science Engineer by qualification and currently working with Fidelity Information Services in Chennai as a Senior Software Engineer. Work aside I am a passionate traveler, trekker, ardent photographer and a blogger.
When & How did you get started CTC?
Being in Software profession, there is no dearth for stress and the health effects of it. I was looking for ways to get over it and that's when I got to know about CTC. The year was 2014. That's when I enrolled myself as a CTC member and got going with the photography trips.
What are the activities of CTC that you are involved in?
Photography and trekking have always been my core interests. To start off with, I have been actively participating with photo trips and have been a part of some amazing treks in the Western Ghats. Off late, I have been into hosting heritage and fun photo trips alongside Pramod Chakravarthy and Infancia sylvia.
What will you say has been your biggest achievement when it comes along with CTC?
People management is a skill that, once, mastered can bring in enormous amounts of benefits in today's world. I have been practicing it ever since my graduation days. With CTC, it just grew stronger!
Share any one of the CTC Best moments you had !
Every event I have been associated with CTC are special. To take a pick among them, the Kodachadri trek deserves it. I was part of an enthusiastic trekking gang and the trek trails were extremely intimidating! I still remember the night camp in the midst of the forest where each of us patrolled for about an hour until dawn.
How do you manage your work life balance ?
Prioritizing my tasks at work and following the age old adage "Work while you work, play while you play" has been the success mantra for managing my work life balance. Of course, distractions do happen. However, I make sure they do not hamper any of my tasks too much.
How has your life changed after joining this CTC ?
I am an extremely introverted individual. My association with CTC has helped me gain like-minded individuals I can spend quality time with.
We have seen you in leading many of volunteering and how does this helps you outside CTC ?
Undeniably, my recognition as a photographer and trekker has a larger reach. Secondly, it has helped me hone my skills at planning and execution.
What are you other interest?
I love reading books or any other medium that enlightens me with the real knowledge that many of us are unaware of. To be brief and precise, I like exploring the spiritual significance of every entity existing in this universe.
