CTC and Ainthinai have crossed barriers in preserving our lovely environment. Each and everyone of you have dedicated your time and energy for a better future.
Summarizing last week's event below..
Event 1:
Grow your own Saplings Maintenance Drive at Prasanna's Home:
GYOS event carried out at Prasanna's residence.
Activities Performed:
- Removing the weeds
- Harvesting the grown spinach
- Regular maintenance activities
Event 2: Nursery Maintenance @ Sholinganallur

100+ Saplings have been shifted to new and big home. 50+ new seeds have been sowed for the germination.
Activities Performed:
- Transplanting the saplings from smaller to the bigger one
- Watering the saplings in the covers
Event 3: MayanaBhoomi Maintenance Activity at Sholinganallur:
Maintenance activity for the saplings inside Mayanabhoomi that has been half burnt by some hooligans, Few volunteers from the Nursery event @ Sholinganallur, headed to the maintenance activity, here watering the sapling is the tiresome and back bending work, as there is no provision for the hose pipes inside Mayanabhoomi. Volunteers did the great job by carrying the bubble-top can of water to feed the saplings, indeed it was a nice workout for them in the morning for a very good cause.

Event 4: Watering activity to plants at Siruvanjur:
It's not just about planting the Saplings and ignore it. It's always maintain the Saplings till it sustain by itself. Ainthinai is not doing anything for the case of just doing it. We believe the real cause.
5500+ liters of water distributed to the Saplings at Siruvanjur Reserve Forest which was planted in 2015 with the help of 250+ Volunteers.
Great work done by the team. Heartfelt thanks to Outreach Team from CTS for their continuous support to our cause.

Event 5:Watering plants at Kambarajapuram:
This is what we do on the weekends. Water the Saplings and saving them from this scorching summer. Thanks to the selfless volunteers who turned up for the good cause.
12000 liters of water was distributed to the Saplings at Kambarajapuram, which was planted in 2016 with the help of large number of volunteers on the occasion of green day.

10+ Soulful volunteers carried out the maintenance activity at Ayangarkulam
