CATEGORIES
- Sprint: 750m swim, 20K cycling, 5K running
- Olympic: 1.5K swim, 45K cycling, 10K running
- Half Iron: 1.9K swim, 90K cycling, 21K running
ROUTES
- Swim: open waters, 150m length
- Cycling: OMR, 22K and 45K U-turns
- Running: 10K loop near Agni College
- Aid stations: every 5-6K
TIMINGS/ENTRY/CUT-OFF
- Entry criteria:
- Only good open water swimmers will be allowed (safety)
- Ongoing open water practice sessions every Tue and Thu morning at venue (free of cost)
- Start timings/Cut off: (eligibility for medal/certificate/finisher tee)
- Half Iron: 5am - 10 hours (men), 11 hours (women)
- Olympic: 5:15am - 6 hours (men), 7 hours (women)
- Sprint: 6:15am - 3 hours (men), 3.5 hours (women)
STAY/FOOD
- Travel: Venue is 1 hour drive from Thirunvanmyur, Chennai
- Overnight stay: Agni College of Technology (free)
- Refreshments: available at swimming, running 5K aid stations, cycle 20/65K point
- Food: Sandwiches at run start/finish and 20/65K cycle point
BIB/FINISH
- BIB distribution: Saturday evening/Sunday morning at venue
- Medal: received at finish line if completing within cut-off time
- Finisher T-shirt: can be ordered at finish line if completing within cut-off time (250Rs)
- E-certificate: emailed post-event if completing within cut-off time
- Awards:
- NO price money.
- Podium awards for top 3 finishers, all distances, open and veteran age categories, men and women
- Photos: extensive photo coverage will be shared free immediately after event
