It was really a wonderful experience for me. Seeing people finding some time from their busy schedule for nature was really great. Also because of participation of "I am for India", we were able to spread green message to school children which I think was really important. Also children showed a lot of enthusiasm towards nature. Even the presence of heat didn't deter the determination of volunteers, children, local people and others participants.
The only problem I think could be that it was not very well organized. Instructions and forming of groups could have been done online which could have saved lots of time thus full process could have been then smoother and effective.
I would like to thank the organizers who took initiative and drove out people from their monotonous life and made them do something and spread message about nature conservation which according to me is very much required. Also I would like to thanks each participant for their active efforts.

Was a pretty good experience... The only grey point was inadequate tools - some had to move the mud with bare hands and some of us managed with coconut shells ; The situation also highlighted the heights of volunteerism of CTC'ians -without putting up a fuss or show-off the team just did their work; Kudos to the team.. Special thanks to locals who shared the idlis and vadas with larger smile in the face;
We saw bunch of guys with DSLR on the hands and i am quite curious to see the pics... wish we can see links of your creative shooting; Naresh/ Vijay / and few more promised me good profile photos :D
Bhagath:-
Overall the event was very successful. The reach to the local community was very good. First time, we had worked with a third party (I Am For India). The participation from IAFI was very good. We have got more scope to work with them in future drives. Since it was the first event for them (Project Green Wave) they brought in more school children from ‘The Ashram’ school. The difficult part was managing the huge crowd. Thanks to Arvindh & Sridhar who made a surprise visit and helped us to organize the event.
