Yesterday approximate 200 members attended our first aid workshop presented by Dr. Arun at the office venue of Mr. Kannan.
The workshop went on for 3 hours with lots of interest and questions from the audience. The workshop was sponsored by SriCity who took care of the audio equipment and video recording (will be uploaded/shared soon). Find below the presentation and some demo videos. At the end Mr Ramanathan gave a presentation on Youth & Cancer to spread awareness on this modern killer decease.

About Dr. Arun
Dr. Arun is a General surgeon, with special interests in minimally invasive (Key hole / Laparoscopy) and Bariatric (Obesity) surgery. He is currently working as an assistant surgeon for a corporate hospital in Chennai. He completed his under graduation in Russia, with special interest in Russian literature with a qualified degree. He had his surgical training in Chennai 3 yrs back. He is also interested in aviation medicine. He is a class 2 medical examiner for the DGCA and was a medical instructor for the pilots and the cabin crew. He is interested in teaching and have been working in medical colleges for a while as a lecturer in the field of surgery. His hobbies are biking and have done long rides. He is into trekking now.

I also want to thank one of our members, Mr Kannan, who generously provided us the rooftop of his office space (ePagemaker) to hold current and future CTC workshops and presentations. This provides us with a space where we can accommodate up to 200 people to continue our ongoing knowledge sharing and awareness. The same venue was used for our 4th birthday symposium Trek Polamaa II.He was so kind to install blinds to make the venue suitable for LCD presentations.
