Running Route
- Route: 37.5K linear trail with different return loop in first section
- Start/Finish: runners will start / finish at St. Joseph School, Athipet
- Aid Stations (25K): every 3K / (50/75/100K): every 6K
- Altitude: 750-1000 meters
- Terrain: 80% off-road hard trail, 20% rolling tar road
- Location: rolling terrain, farm lands, tribal villages, forest sections
- Climate: Morning / evening - 18 to 25 degrees. Mid-day 30+ degrees

Mandatory Requirements for 50/75/100K
- Runners which do not meet below requirements will be disqualified:
- Entry: Should have completed full marathon (42K) successfully in last 1 year within 6 hours
- Disclaimer form to be signed. Can be downloaded from web site after registration
- Hydration set (Camelback type or belt pouch with minimum capacity of 1 litre - 6K distance between aid stations)
- Headlamp
- Cap/bandana to protect yourself from the sun
- Mobile phone with the registered number
- Runners to carry GPS log of running route in their smartphone. Can be downloaded from web site after registration
Recommended Gears (all categories)
- Sunglasses
- Proper running shoes due to rocky terrain
- Snacks to consume during the race
- Salt caps or ORS to prevent cramps
Elevation Profile
Travel
- Chennai: 4.5 hour drive from Chennai through Polur
- Bangalore: 4 hour drive from Bangalore through Vaniyambadi
- Vellore: airport / bus
- Public transport: last bus from Polur to Jamunamarathur at 6pm
Stay
- Recommendation: travel previous day and stay overnight near venue
- Note: 75/100K runners should stay overnight at the venue given the early (2AM) start time.
- Accommodation: free stay available at venue at St. Joseph Higher Secondary School
- Camping: bring your own tent to camp on school grounds
- Lodging: Hotels / lodges available at Polur, 1.5 hour from venue. Details will be shared after registration
Refreshments
- Aid Stations: water, lemon, salt, banana, orange, ORS, chicies + sandwiches for 50/75/100K runners
- Breakfast: South Indian buffet breakfast at finish (25/50K) or lunch (75K) or dinner (100K)
- Coupons: Saturday dinner / Sunday lunch / Sunday dinner coupons available for runners/friends/relatives (100Rs). Separate form to be submitted after registration
- Stalls: availability of organically produced millets and honey by local Tribal farmers
BIB Distribution
- Venue: St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, Athipet
- Saturday: evening 6-8pm
- Sunday: Sunday: 2-6am
- Timing chip: attached with the bib
- T-shirt: optional (400Rs)
Finisher
- No Rankings / Podiums
- JHU Medal (if finished within cut-off timing)
- Timings: posted on web site 1-2 days
- Photos: running route + finisher podium: extensive free photo coverage posted 1-2 days
