Thanks to the many kind hearted souls who supported our long term rehab program near Pulicat. Many kids from nearby backward hamlets which got badly impacted during the last Dec floods started attending classes at Chennai Trekking Club's school cum tuition center at Senjiamman Nagar kalvi kudom. Thanks also to the participants of our recent Kalrayan Hill Run / Nagala Trek for donating the trip balance towards the salaries of 3 teachers (10K / month).
We are now initiating the next rehab phase focusing on sanitation by constructing toilets for the nearby village of Vanjivakkam. Stay tuned for further updates.
