Large turn out for our final Chennai Coastal Cleanup volunteer planning meeting at ePagemaker Thirunvanmyur last evening. The green team is getting ready to deploy the troops on Sunday across the entire city coastline.

Sunday, we are collecting an estimated 50 tonnes of garbage from 20km of Chennai beaches. We will be segregating the waste in 3 categories in order to maximum recycle and minimize the amount of garbage which moves to the garbage dump. Familiarize yourself with the materials in each category:
