RUNNING ROUTE
- Track: off-road hard trail through paddy fields, remote tribal villages, lush greenery
- Route: 25K linear trail
- Altitude: 800-1000 meters.
- Elevation gain: 1500m, 1100m, 600m
- Aid stations: every 4-5K
- Weather: mornings / evenings - 18 to 25 degrees. Mid-day 25 to 30 degrees
TIMINGS/ENTRY/CUT-OFF
- Entry criteria:
- Minimum age 18 years
- 25K: min HM timing 2:15 hours (men) 2:30 hours (women)
- Open Cateory 50/75K: min FM timing 5:30 hours (men) 6 hours (women)
- Veteran (43 years+): no criteria
- Start timings/Cut off: (eligibility for medal/certificate)
- 75K: 5:30am - 11 hours (men), 12 hours (women) - All categories
- 50K: 5:45am - 7 hours (men), 7:45 hours (women) - All categories
- 25K: 6am - 3:30 hours (men), 4 hours (women) - All categories
TRAVEL/STAY
- Travel:
- 4.5 hour drive from Chennai through Polur
- 4 hour drive from Bangalore through Vaniyambadi
- (recommended to drive previous afternoon and stay overnight)
- Car pooling: contact of car owners willing to car pool will be shared among runners from same location
- Public transport: last bus from Polur to Jamunamarathur at 6pm
- Overnight stay:
- St. Joseph Higher Secondary School near Jamunamarathur (free)
- Possibility for camping on school grounds
- (Non)A/C lodges available at Polur, 1.5 hour from venue (details will be shared)
REFRESHMENTS/FOOD
- Refreshments: available at aid stations every 4-5K
- Food:
- South Indian buffet breakfast at finish (25K)
- Sandwiches at 25K/50K + lunch/dinner (50K/75K)
- Optional: Saturday dinner / Sunday lunch / dinner coupons available for runners/friends/relatives (75Rs)
- Stalls: availability of organically produced millets and honey by local Tribal farmers
BIB/MEDAL/AWARD
- BIB distribution: Saturday
evening/Sunday morning at venue - Medal: received at finish line if completing within cut-off time
- E-certificate: emailed post-event if completing within cut-off time
- Awards:
- NO price money.
- Podium awards for top 3 finishers, all distances, open and veteran age categories, men and women
- Photos: extensive photo coverage will be shared free immediately after event
