This weekend 32 Enticer, 31 Sprint, 24 Olympic and 13 Half Iron distance Triathletes successively crossed the finish line of our 2-day multi-discipline sports event. We saw many new faces participating in the entry level distances as well as our regular Triathletes competing on the higher levels. It was a pleasure to see many girls and women participants joining and completing the Enticer, Sprint and Olympic levels. Our Triathlon knew no age limits with the youngest participant of 6 years and eldest at 54 years young! Time for YOU to join and start practicing for our next Triathlon.

Both days our triathletes assembled at the Aquatic Complex near Velachery around 5:30am for registrations & warm up session by our very own Vallaban physio & sports trainer to prepare for the long endurance:
Around 6:15am the troops gathered inside the swimming pool and different levels were assigned to different swimming lanes: Enticer 300m, Sprint 750m, Olympic 1.5km and Half Iron distance 1.9km respectively:
Siva, our youngest of heart Olympic Triathlete, at 54 years
After successfully completing the required number of swimming lapses for the respective levels our Triathletes immediately changed and proceeded with the cycle section along the OMR/ECR: Enticer/Sprint 30km U-turn at Sholliganallur, Olympic 45km U-turn at Kellambakkam and Half Iron 90km U-turn at Mahabs.
For all 4 levels the cycle section ended near the common running track along ECR near Neelankarai where the Triathletes had to run a different number of loops: Enticer 3km, Sprint 5km, Olympic 10km and Half Iron distance 21km (half Marathon)
