Some journeys don't start with a big applause.... They don't start
with a bang... But they start with lot of heart....And with great spirit....
Four dame cruisers started early morning from Chennai to beautiful
Nagari... Little did they know what awaits them....
What happened with them qualifies for writing history....
300 Kms+ Biking on Highways (TN Roads are tricky business to manage)
Warning: Please don't repeat this while driving, done by over experienced People.... ;-)
Girl's only off roading on Peter's car...
24 Kms+ riding on the through the tough terrain Nagari jungle track... As they say where only tractors dare... This was the most unanticipated and challenging part our Biking trip... We drove on loose sand, rocks, through streams and what not... Peter gave us an option to leave the bike and ride in car.... But the challenge was too hard to resist and even the pillions didn’t go in car... Now that’s what I call "Real dames"....
Tough Calls at time...
After this we did one km long trek to reach the temple and our first Nagari pool... The Campsite...
The water was so pristine and clear that we couldn’t help ourselves and jumped immediately...
There was a festival going on in the temple and the villagers provided us with some best mouth-watering food. This lip-smacking hot food in a trek for dinner and breakfast has a very tantalizing effect on taste buds....
We swam in lake of diameter of 3 kms plus while returning and nothing beats this swimming experience....
We took rest in the nature's lap like our ancestors...
And finally we came back leaving all this peace and wilderness behind us... No body wanted to be back to civilization and people were even making plans to join the Nagari combo next week but alas... Some times you have to take tough decisions.....
Had a Superrrrr Group...
A Look what went through
Off roading, biking, swimming, trekking, relaxing, nature watching and a wonderful group... Nothing comes close to this... The First Cruising dames was soul refreshing... Ending line for such a memorable experience can be nothing but this. ~Don't ask me where my limits are. I am a free bird and even the sky looks undersized. ~
